Essay Question – September 2025 Promotion Test

Congratulations to ALL who trained well through the summer to step forward for promotion!  You are set to embark on a new season of learning, growth, and self-discovery through your martial arts practice!  We are proud of you!  We are ready to guide your continued success!

We are planning our Promotion Ceremony for Friday, September 19:

  • 5 pm ALL Children/Youth
  • 6:30 pm (or immediately following) – ALL Adults/Teens

Here’s your ESSAY QUESTION!  Please see the essay preparation guidelines as you reflect and prepare.  Please bring your ESSAY to the Promotion Ceremony to present as we celebrate YOU!

“What does HARD WORK mean to you, and how can I make hard tasks/challenges flow well to create my success?”

Supreme GrandMaster Yu and one of our Junior Instructor ‘Essay Experts’ came together to create this great topic for us!  ENJOY the creative process – remember, we always appreciate visual art to reflect your response to the question, in addition to, or instead of words!
