Honoring the Legacy: GrandMaster Yu Named Regional VP of U.S. TaeKwonDo Grandmasters Society
This spring, Supreme GrandMaster Yu has been actively sharing the philosophy and discipline of True Martial Art, emphasizing the importance of proper etiquette within the Dojhang (training center) and inspiring others to embrace the martial artist’s way of life.
Demonstrating unwavering commitment to the martial arts community, GrandMaster Yu was appointed on March 29 as an Advisory Board Member of the Kukkiwon World TaeKwonDo Headquarters US Branch/IL. Soon after, from April 11–13, he traveled to Portland, Oregon, to attend the 23rd Annual U.S. TaeKwonDo Grandmasters Society Conference, where he was honored to receive the leadership role of Regional Vice President of the Society.
We are incredibly proud of our founder and teacher, who remains unwavering in his pursuit of excellence and his mission to uplift the martial arts community. Through his leadership, we are inspired to follow in his footsteps, embracing the martial way with purpose, humility, and honor.
GrandMaster S. H. Yu is the president, founder, and skill choreographer of Master S. H. Yu Martial Arts, 6701 W. North Ave., Oak Park, IL, now in our 31st year, contributing to the health, safety, and citizenship of the community. His unwavering dedication to the overall excellence in himself, his students, and the Dojhang’s physical presence in the community continues to inspire all of us seeking to discover THE BEST in ourselves and in our community.
